Taxi driver stuns motorists by dropping trousers and taking a poo at side of busy city centre street

Taxi driver goes to the bathroom in publicA taxi driver stunned other motorists by unbuttoning his trousers and defecating at the side of a city centre road.
After spotting the shocking scene in Ancoats, Manchester, a horrified driver called 999.
On being asked what he was doing by the shocked onlooker, the cabbie attempted to make amends by shaking the witness's hand.
It is then he is reported to have urinated against a wall.
Police officers were alerted to the indiscreet ‘drop off’ at around 5.30pm on Thursday, reports Manchester Evening News.
They have now passed the information they received to the council’s taxi licensing authorities, who will decide whether to take further action against the driver.
Inspector Phil Spurgeon, from Greater Manchester Police’s city centre team, said: “After the 999 caller stopped to ask what the taxi driver was doing, he held out his hand to shake hands with the witness.
"Needless to say, the offer was declined for obvious reasons.”

The incident comes just weeks after another taxi driver was snapped by furious residents on Parksway, Blackley, squatting alongside his car with his trousers and underpants around his ankles.
People living on the street claimed it was the latest in an series of incidents over several months in which taxi drivers were parking at the end of their street and using it as an ‘outdoor toilet’.
The driver told licensing chiefs he had assumed the position to inspect a wound after ‘cutting himself shaving’.
A panel decided not to revoke the driver’s private hire licence due to a lack of evidence he had relieved himself.
An angry confrontation between a resident and a different driver who was spotted unbuttoning his trousers on the street on February 12 was reported to Greater Manchester Police but no-one was arrested regarding the incident.
Earlier this month CCTV caught another driver urinating in the street on Beverley Street in Blackley.
Police say that cabbies could end up in court if they relieve themselves in a public place, rather than use toilets in a supermarket or their taxi rank offices.
