A mother who killed six of her own newborn babies could die behind bars after she pleaded guilty to murder.
Megan Huntsman suffocated or strangled the tragic tots just moments after they were born, seemingly because she “didn’t want the babies”.
The 40-year-old gave birth to the babies between 1996 and 2006, but after killing them, she dumped their bodies in plastic bags.
They were then put into boxes and placed in the garage of her home in Pleasant Grove, Utah, USA.
A seventh baby was also found dead, but it is thought to have been a stillborn.

She pleaded guilty in February this year to six counts of murder, but at sentencing yesterday she was handed a maximum sentence of at least 30 years and up to life in jail.
A final decision on her jail term will be made by a parole board.
Prosecutors described the murders as “cold, calculated killings”, and said Huntsman was indifferent to what she had done.
The murders were only discovered after Huntsman moved out of the home and the boxes were discovered by her estranged husband, Darren West.
He had just come out of jail in April 2014 and was retrieving some of his belongings when he made the gruesome discovery.
Police said that Mr West was the father of the babies, but he was not in any way implicated in the deaths.
It was later revealed in court that Huntsman was a heavy drug user, but that she had had said she wanted to take responsibility for the deaths.
